Disaster Preparedness Training

Wilton CERT offers FREE annual Disaster Preparedness Training. Citizens are invited to become trained to help family, friends and neighbors in the event of an emergency or disaster. CERT instructors, certified by the Connecticut Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security along with other instructors from Police, Fire and EMS, assist in the training. The initial training is conducted over 20 hours and includes:

*Disaster Preparedness *Disaster Medical Operations *CERT Organization *Fire Safety *Search and Rescue *Disaster Psychology *Terrorism

Upon completion interested participants may become members of Wilton CERT.

Our next class will take place between Tuesday, January 31st, and Thursday, February 23rd.

Classes will meet 2x per week on Tues and Thurs for 4 weeks.

Tuesday sessions will be held via Zoom and Thursday sessions will be held in person at Comstock Community Center in Wilton.
